Upon activation of the device, its barrel spins up with Thermal Energy, forming a large ball of pure flaming energy, which is ejected to a target location which is visible and within range. Upon hitting the location, the ball of thermal energy implodes and releases thermal energy in a 20 foot radius. Each creature within the explosion radius must make a DEX saving throw, which, upon a failure results in 8d6 fire damage. On a successful saving throw, creatures take half as much damage. The fire spreads around corners and over objects. It ignites any flammable objects in the area of explosion that aren't being worn or carried.

At higher levels: When supercharged, the damage increases by 1d6 for each power level above third.
