Prologue

In the cold night, where stars shimmer in the vast expanse of the starry sky, A sense of normalcy had hung in the air, as if a weighted blanket were wrapped around their heads to block out all knowledge of what had taken place just moments ago, like an unseen force that could control their very own thoughts and actions.

And through the depths of space, a sudden and unexpected disturbance manifested close to earth: a swirling male storm of unusual energies descending from above, making landfall upon its surface with great speed and velocity, causing widespread destruction without warning. The world went into chaos when it hit them full on.

The cosmic phenomenon had devastating power; no man, woman, or animal was safe from its instantaneous ire. It was like a giant tsunami wave crashing over everything in its path, wiping out entire cities within seconds before moving onto other targets across the globe.

Not even a chance of proper evacuation for those who were caught up in this catastrophe—no one could have predicted such an event would occur so quickly or how far-reaching its effects would be felt worldwide once it began sweeping away lifeforms left behind after initial impact.

To some, many religious folks saw this as a sign of the end times coming soon enough, while others viewed this calamity simply as another natural disaster with which they must deal accordingly with resilience and hope intact despite whatever odds may lay ahead during the recovery phase afterwards, only to be greeted with their unfortunate demise.

However, for all the deaths transpiring so fast, the one key detail everyone noticed was when only female animals, insects, and even humans were affected by the incoming malestorm moving throughout the world, as the males experienced minor radiation that either only caused a headache or, worse, nausea.

It was strange to see, unknown to some for why it was killing all women regardless of species, but one thing is for sure: the future now looked bleak with no females to carry on the next generation. This means all of the male animals will become extinct since there will not be any offspring being created anymore unless something changes.

In this moment of uncertainty, the awakening of Espers was triggered by the cosmic storm. Those who had been blessed with the ability to wield powers beyond their wildest dreams suddenly found themselves thrust into a world where the rules they knew no longer applied. Chaos continued as these men were gifted with extraordinary abilities.

Through this midst, a beacon of hope emerged after learning of the existence of a young girl in Greenland who survived the complete eradication of all women. Her name was Nede, and she had been outside playing with her friends when the cosmic storm struck. Through her sadness and grief at seeing everyone around her die, as well as learning that 99% of the female population died, she knew it was a nightmare to behold.

But even in this terrific scene that transpired before her own eyes, her scientist father and a coalition of talented leaders, visionaries, and innovators who recognized the need for unity in the face of adversity decided to come together to pool all their resources and expertise in preventing the extinction of mankind at the cost of sacrificing Nede for the greater good after the relentless waves of anarchy happening in every corner of the planet.

With the greatest of minds, they constructed a space vessel capable of carrying the remnants of man to a new home beyond the reaches of the turmoil. Calling upon the brightest minds and the most skilled artisans, they set to work, weaving together technology and imagination to bring their vision to life. But even as they labored to secure humanity's future, men forgot one important thing, and that was balancing their new society.

Turning to the wonders of artificial intelligence, they used the last girl as their benevolent dictator to rule their civilization while symbolizing the 99% of the female population killed by the malestorm. Imbued with the wisdom of all knowledge there ever was, Nede learned everything and more about human existence in her new role as leader of this fledgling society.

In addition to her role, she commissioned the creation of beautiful androids in the form of women—caretakers, companions, and symbols of hope in a world forever changed. Crafted with meticulous precision and imbued with lifelike qualities, these androids served as a reminder of the resilience and beauty of the human spirit, even in the face of unimaginable loss.

Angeloids, as they are called, each with their own unique personalities and strengths, are designed to provide comfort and guidance to the remaining men struggling to adjust to this new reality. And so, when centuries go by, humanity is once again reborn and forged into a new, better world freed of pain and labor with the help of these machines, but what is to say that this
is not the beginning of the end?
