The Birth of Despair

When the universe was created, there were two forces that roamed together freely as a pair, deciding on locations where they should plant their seeds into planets. These forces were known as the Cosmic Binders and even the Arcvhivarius would not be able to tell that far back of when exactly in history they came from but all we understand is that birth planets and delegate Gods to watch over their creations while they continue to give life to other worlds.

However, the creations of these worlds were by random.  This means that some worlds were created by the Cosmic Binder of Hope which granted a generally overlapping aura around the world it created and in saying that, worlds that were created by the Cosmic Binder of Despair would carrying an overall negative aura. In saying this, there can be worlds that can also be created by both of the Cosmic Binders if they decide to do so and that was what Solirium was; a baby of our Cosmic Binders.

These auras affected the world they created in terms of how regular natural disasters would occur or how deadly plagues were. The aura also extended its reach into the flora and fauna making it react differently from planet to planet and as well as the demeanour of the living beings that dominate the world.

When deciding on the creation of Solirium, the Cosmic Binder of Hope and the Cosmic Binder of Despair decided that this would be their first experiment in Aeons on repairing what they tried to do before and failed; create a world that was fifty per cent hope and fifty per cent despair. The two then thought it out but eventually decided to add a little more despair in the mix of Solirium because they both learnt from the past that hope made people risky.
