Duration: Instantaneous

Touching the end of the device to a creature which is near death will activate the device, and it will attempt to rip the remaining life force from the target. The creature must make a CON saving throw, and take 10 necrotic damage on a failure. The device will automatically fail to activate if the target is above 10 health.

At higher levels: Supercharged, this device deals an additional 10 necrotic damage for every power level above first. The threshold for activation is also increased by 10 for every power level above first.
