Ontological Stabilization Field in Dungeons & Dragons 5e

Ontological Stabilization Field

8-level Abjuration

Casting Time: 1 action
Range/Area: Self (10-foot-radius sphere)
Components: Verbal, Somatic, Material
Materials: A pinch of iron filings or powdered iron
Duration: Concentration, Concentration: Up to 1 hour
This device deploys 4 buoys which float away from you at chest level in the four cardinal directions. The 4 buoys form the outside barrier for a ontologically stable field to form in a 10 foot sphere around you. Within the sphere, all anomalous effects dissipate, and can no longer be cast (even by you). Anomalous items within the field become mundane for the time they are in the field. For the duration of the effect, the sphere moves with you.   All anomalous effects, spells, etc., except those created by a Class V+ reality bender or gods, are suppressed and may not protrude into the sphere. If the magical shield were to fall, then all suppressed effects will become active once more (meaning, for example, if you suppressed an incoming fireball, once the shield fell, the fireball would resume with the same velocity). However, the time they are suppressed counts towards their duration (so if the fireball could only exist for 1 minute and it was suppressed for that period, when the shield fell it would dissipate, since it would've been alive for longer than 1 minute).
