Forceful Imprisonment Device in Dungeons & Dragons 5e

Forceful Imprisonment Device

7-level Evocation

Casting Time: 1 action
Range/Area: 100 feet
Components: Verbal, Somatic, Material
Materials: A ruby which has been ground to dust, being worth at least $300,000
Duration: 1 hour
Upon activation, this machine will fly into an area specified and form an immobile, translucent, cube-shaped prison composed of anomalous force. The prison may be a caged one or solid box, depending on the setting the device is on.   A caged prison can be up to 20 feet on one side and consists of 1/2-inch diameter bars spaced 1/2 inch between each bar.   A solid box prison can be up to 10 feet on one side. The solid barrier prevents any matter from passing into the prison or out of the prison. It also blocks any thaumaturgical or anomalous forces cast into or out of the prison.   When activated, any creature caught inside of the prison's area is trapped. Creatures which are only partially within the area, or which are too big to be imprisoned are pushed away by a gust of air by the machine.   A creature inside of the prison cannot leave by non-anomalous means. If the creature is a Class III+ reality bender, it can leave easily using their anomalous capabilities. Class II or lower reality benders must make an INT saving throw. On a success, they can use their anomalous capabilities to leave. On a failure, the anomalous ability they attempted to use will fail.   This prison is not removable by Ontological Stabilization.
Available for: Internal Security Agent
