The device harnesses nearby light from light sources and directs them into one, concentrated ray of light, which beams forward 60 feet, the beam being 5-feet wide. Creatures caught in the ray must make a DEX saving throw. On a failure, they take 4d6 radiant damage. On a success, they take half as much damage. If the damage from this device reduces the creature to less than 12 hit points, they are immediately, fatally vaporized.

At higher levels: When supercharged for each gadget slot above fourth, the fatal threshold increases by 6 hit points.
